Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists work with people of all ages who might need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives due to physical, developmental and/or social problems. Occupational Therapy concentrates on different elements of self-care, work, and play/leisure activities to increase independence, enhance development, and/or prevent disability. To attain these goals occupational therapy may require the therapist to adapt the task or the environment for the patient.
